CERTIFICATE DESCRIPTION
Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs have been proven to help workers (from plant-floor employees to senior executives) incorporate maintenance into the everyday performance of a facility, detect maintenance problems earlier, "mistake-proof" equipment and reduce breakdowns. After completing this training, participants will have the tools to launch, lead and sustain a systematic equipment and maintenance management improvement process and ensure alignment with overall Environmental, Health and Safety goals.

CERTIFICATE OBJECTIVES

5.5.1 Total Productive Maintenance: Overview of TPM and Autonomous Maintenance

Lesson 6: Conflict Resolution

Wherever two or more people come together, there is the possibility of conflict. This lesson will give participants a six-step process that they can use to modify and resolve conflicts of any size. Participants will also learn crucial conflict resolution skills, including disagreeing diplomatically and using the Agreement Frame. Discover 5 different conflict styles and when they are appropriate to use and understanding the Conflict Resolution Process.

Today’s leader must be versatile and adaptable. This training is designed for department heads, front line supervisors, team leaders and coordinators whether they are new to the position or have been in a leadership role for years. 

Course Delivery
Blended Learning - Online, Self-Paced and Instructor Led

Participants will receive a link to the online portion of the course one week prior to the class date, to complete on their own. This is a 1 hour self-paced lesson. Participants will then join a 90 minute, virtual instructor-led class to review course material and apply knowledge through class activities.

Participants will be awarded a badge for each course they complete. A Leadership Development Certificate will be awarded to those participants completing all 7 courses within the certification.

This workshop is a combined training for forklift safety and dock/warehouse safety.  

This full day class will cover the hazards and injuries likely to occur in warehousing and storage operations, including encounters with powered industrial trucks, material handling, lifting, hazard communication, walking and working surfaces, and life safety including fire protection and evacuation. This course is intended for warehouse workers, supervisors, and employers responsible for developing safe work practices and procedures in a warehouse setting.
