COURSE DESCRIPTION
In any business, meeting project goals is crucial in every facet of the business environment. Project leaders need the essential skills to lead these projects successfully. Successful project management requires considering all factors that influence the execution. This 2-day workshop provides the foundational knowledge necessary to understand key factors, such as scope, time, cost, quality, resources and communication. Participants will learn practical ways to explore and understand project goals for the life cycle of a project, from project start to project closing. 

COURSE OBJECTIVES
  • Understand the purpose and key components of the project planning phase.
  • Gather requirements to define, document, and manage detailed project scope.
  • Create a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to decompose deliverables into work packages.
  • Sequence activities and estimate task durations accurately.
  • Develop a detailed project schedule with milestones, critical path, and schedule float.
  • Establish baseline scope and schedule agreements for stakeholder alignment.
