Today’s leader must be versatile and adaptable. Effective leadership results in everything from increased workplace productivity and employee retention, to improved succession planning and, ultimately, a better bottom line. This course, a key component of our Leadership Development training, serves as the foundation for establishing high performing leaders and defines the relationship between trust, respect, and credibility, covers the importance of follow up and honoring commitments, provides tips for gaining trust and reviews the five dysfunctions of a team – how lack of trust will inhibit execution.

Participants will receive a link to the online portion of the course one week prior to the class date, to complete on their own. This is a 1 hour self-paced lesson. Participants will then join a 90 minute, virtual instructor-led class to review course material and apply knowledge through class activities.

Heat Illness

Exposure to heat can cause illness and death. While the most serious heat illness is heat stroke, other heat illnesses such as heat exhaustion, heat cramps and heat rash, should also be avoided. The Fire Prevention Plans training course provides comprehensive training on essential emergency preparedness measures, including the development of effective Emergency Action Plans and Fire Protection Plans. Participants will learn to identify when evacuation or shelter-in-place actions are necessary and understand the characteristics of safe emergency escape routes. The course also covers the different types of fire extinguishers, their appropriate uses, and the maintenance requirements for ensuring their effectiveness. Through practical exercises and detailed instruction, learners will gain the skills needed to enhance workplace safety and ensure compliance with emergency preparedness standards.
