COURSE DESCRIPTION Hand and power tools can be very hazardous in industry and have the potential for causing severe injuries when used or maintained improperly. This course is designed to present a summary of the basic procedures and safeguards associated with hand and portable power tools. After completing this course, participants will be able to recognize the hazards associated with different types of tools and understand the necessary safety precautions that should be taken for each.
Δ Annual recertification may be required depending on the worksite regulations. DESIGNED FOR Any worker who uses hand and power tools on their job and wants to become educated on the safety of those tools.
