The Introduction to OSHA training course emphasizes workers' rights and protections according to the OSH Act of 1970. Introduction to OSHA training teaches the history of OSHA and the administration’s role in reducing work-related injuries and deaths. Participants will learn about employer's responsibilities under OSHA and the ways that OSHA protects their right to a safe and healthful work environment as well as OSHA inspections, penalties, recordkeeping and reporting requirements.

Δ Annual recertification may be required depending on the worksite regulations.

Lesson 1: OSHA-10  (10 Hours)

  • Identify and apply OSHA standards to ensure a safe working environment, recognizing and reducing potential hazards.
  • Demonstrate key health and safety practices, including the use of PPE, safe equipment handling, and emergency response procedures.
  • OSHA-10 Card provided upon successful completion of the course.

  • Demonstrate accurate measurement skill required in manufacturing environments.

Lesson 3: 5S for the Workplace  (2 Hours)

Lesson 4: Root Cause Analysis  (2 Hours)

  • Outline steps for effective problem solving.

  • Explore active and empathetic listening skills and assess your ability.
