COURSE DESCRIPTION
HazCom is a set of standards that were designed and implemented by OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) to protect workers and companies that deal with hazardous waste operations. Being exposed to hazardous substances can inflict a wide range of negative health effects, some of which can lead to death. In this training, participants will be shown how to comply with hazard management and hazardous waste regulations as required by OSHA and other federal safety agencies. Training topics include decontamination, hazardous chemicals, and more.
